Selecting a Search Location for File Recovery

The first screen in the File Recovery module in Lazesoft Mac Data Recovery will display a search window showing a list of available drives and partitions. You must select the drive or partition where the data or file to be recovered was originally written.

If your partition is not listed, this is a sign of a more severe corruption. If you are trying to rescue data from removable media, you need to have the media in the drive before selecting the File Recovery tools.

To begin data recovery, select a partition and click <Next> to begin scanning for 'lost' files.
