Selecting a Search Location for Partition Recovery
The first screen in the Partition Recovery module in Lazesoft Mac Data Recovery will display a search window showing available disk drives. You must select the drive where the partition to be recovered was originally written.
If your drive is not listed, this is a sign of a more severe corruption or an unconnected drive. You should verify that the hard drive cable is connected properly and that the drive jumper settings are correct.
If you are trying to rescue a damaged partition from removable media, you need to have the media in the drive before selecting the Partition Recovery tools.

Partition Recovery is very powerful and intelligent. You do not need to input or select the cluster size, data start, or the root cluster location. These parameters will be calculated automatically in the scan. Just select the drive that contains your lost partition, click <Next> and wait for the result of your scan to be displayed.
